April 12 2011

Tomorrow is a big day-  The last day of classes, and our final preparations for Presentation night will take place.  Please refer to April 8 post for all of the details.  We are blessed to be able to set up table displays tomorrow, so teachers and students come prepared with all of your projects!  Set- up will occur after lunch.

We will be serving pizza tomorrow! Call Bonni Greiner (717-665-6854) if you would like to order, or if there are any changes.

Remember your yearbook money tomorrow!  $15.90 is the cost per book.

If you are planning to pay your membership fee tomorrow, please make sure you have the membership contract signed, and the class registration form filled out.

If you are a parent of a student who attends without you,  please stand-by.  The form you will fill out has not been posted yet.  The process will be- you fill out the form with your students, and the classes you’d like to enroll them in.  The leadership team will inform you of class availability asap, and at that time, you can pay your class fees.

Since some things came in this afternoon, I will post today, instead of waiting until Tues.

2. BABY NEWS- Adalberto and Tanya Lara  welcomed a new baby girl into their family on Wednesday morning at 9 :38!

Her name is Ydel (Yuh-dell)

22 1/4 inches long

3. Presentation Night! Here it is!!!  Thursday, April 15, 7 -9pm. The grand finale’ of a wonderfully productive, cooperative effort of families with similar hearts for God and and their children! For many of us, this is the highlight of the school year where we can show our families and friends just what it is we do when we gather on a Wednesday. About 9 pm, those who are able, please stay a little longer to help put away tables and chairs for the night. Thanks!

Details:  the sanctuary is available for practice during your class time. I didn’t make a schedule, so hopefully, the stage will be empty when your class goes up to the sanctuary.  Let’s extend extra grace and flexibility incase there is an overlap. Look for a labeled bench so you know where to sit on Thurs. night. For older students (3rd gr. and up) you may be in a couple of presentations, so I suggest you sit in the bench where you will be on stage first.
Peggy announced that she and her crew will set up the gym at 12:30 and hope to be done by 1:30. When we get the green light, teachers may set up their table displays. Have fun and be real creative!
I will have programs that need to be folded during Wed. Perhaps some study hall students could do this.
**Would 4 students please volunteer to hand out the programs on Thursday night? Perhaps students who are not doing anything on stage would be happy to greet our guests for the evening. Let me know…Thanks! Mrs. Graybill

4.  A Notary will be available at co-op from 8:30- 10 on Wednesday to notarize affidavits for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year.
Even if you did NOT sign up for this, you can still bring your affidavit to be stamped. The cost is $3 a signature.
